Charles Budd, 65, of Nederland, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.   Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 22, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Reverend L.C. Roots officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the mortuary.   A native of Carl Junction, Missouri, Charles has lived in the area since 1961. He retired from DuPont in 2001 with 37 years of service. He was a member of the Seventh Street Baptist Church in Nederland. Charles enjoyed fishing, building everything he could, a great handyman and a self proclaimed chef with his specialties, rice balls and potato rolls.   He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pat Budd of Nederland; daughters, Arika Hairford and her husband Don of Nederland; Angela Budd of Nederland; son Charles Ryan Budd of Groves; sister, Carolyn Sue Smith and her husband Don of Houma, Louisiana and aunt, Laverne Miller of Joplin, Missouri.   For those desiring to make memorial contributions, please make payable to the Seventh Street Baptist Church, Building Fund, 200 7th Street, Nederland, Texas 77627
