David Louis Walker, 41, of Beaumont, died Thursday, March 18, 2010.  A longtime resident of Nederland, David was born February 9, 1969, to Tonna Reid and James H. Walker.  He was a sales manager with Twin City Nissan and was a United States Marine Corps veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Walker of Beaumont; daughter, Sarah Peltzman of Kansas City, Kansas; son, Matthew Bierbaum of Beaumont; parents, Tonna and James Walker; grandchildren, Brody Peltzman and Payden Peltzman; brother, Jimmy Walker; sisters, Jalynn Rosetta, Michelle Callaway, Tina Taylor and Regina McManus; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2010, at The Church of I Am, 420 South Major Drive, Beaumont. There will be a family committal at Fairview Cemetery in Town Bluff under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 2:00 Sunday until time of service at the church.
