Paul Allen Bronson 
September 23, 1940 - March 13, 2010

Paul Allen Bronson, 69, of Port Neches died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.  He was born in Boulder, Colorado on September 23, 1940, to Eber Richard and Nellie Lucille (Sewell) Bronson.  A Port Neches resident since 1977, Paul was a Professor and Director of Respiratory Therapy with Lamar University.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Bronson of Port Neches; son, Cyrus Bronson of Port Neches; daughters, Ciara Bronson of Port Neches, Kristina McGaugh and her husband Paul of Scottsdale, Arizona, Andrea White and her husband Dr. Ron White of Dripping Springs, Texas, and Holly Black and her husband Kent of Katy; grandchildren, Ausan, Miles, and Luke McGaugh, Grace and Andrew White, and Faith and Gage Black; sister, Darlene Howe and her husband Clifford of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of his family and friends will be Tuesday, March 16, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3810 N. Major Drive, Beaumont.  His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March17, 2010, at Broussard’s with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches.
