Joseph Marino, Sr., 85, of Lumberton died Friday, March 12, 2010, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.   

He was born in Silsbee, Texas May 7, 1924, to Victor and Catherine (Ragusa)  Marino and was a retired pipefitter.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Marino; daughters, Cathy Marino Skinner, Marsha Kay Mitchell, and Pamela Gail Cheval; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many other family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 243 S. L.H.S. Drive, Lumberton with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A Rosary will be recited 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010, with a gathering of his family and friends to follow, at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont, Texas.
