Eva Grace Dewees expired March 12, 2010, due to C. H. F. at the age of 81 years.

She was born September 4, 1928 to her parents Eddie Mire and Felicia Hebert Mire.

Sister Grace Dewees was a “pioneer of Pentecost”, making a Christian Holy Ghost way for her family at the age of twenty.                                  .

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at the First United Pentecostal Church of Winnie, with burial in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the church.

Mrs. Grace leaves behind to carry on the natural and spiritual legacies her daughter, Ruth Dewees and son, Glenn Dewees and his wife Beverly. Grandmaw, Granny and Gramon, as she was called, leaves behind five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Caton of Raton, Washington, Lou Page of Karnes City, Texas; nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years, Perry Dewees and son, Larry Dewees.
