Gary Jean Guillory, 56, of Church Point, Louisiana died March 4, 2010, at the General Hospital in Opelousas, Louisiana.

Gary was a native of Stowell, Texas and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church of Winnie.  She also worked at the Medical Center of Winnie Hospital and at Al-T’s Restaurant. In 1989 she moved to Church Point, Louisiana and became an active member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church and was employed by the Savoie Company. Gary was a dedicated worker and was always commended on her job performance.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 W. Buccaneer Drive with burial in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie.  A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Broussard’s.

Gary is survived by her children, Andrea Guillory and Veronica Guillory-Hale both of Winnie, Marcus Devon Guillory of Church Point; brothers, Joseph Wayne Batiste, Tony Curtis Batiste, Terry Elkin Batiste all of Winnie; grandchildren, Deondric Malveaux, Desmond Malveaux, Sean Malveaux, Jr., Devin White, Sadé Hale, Robert Hale, Jr. and numerous relatives and friends.
