Phyllis S. Trahan, 60, of Johnson's Bayou, Louisiana, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Johnson's Bayou Community Center with interment to follow at Head of the Hollow Cemetery, both  in Johnson's Bayou. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00-10:00 P.M. at the Community Center on Sunday with a Rosary recited at 6:00 P.M.

Phyllis was born and raised in the Kaplan, Louisiana area, and spent her married life in Johnson's Bayou. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed cooking and shopping. After retiring, she most of all loved being with and taking care of her family.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Carol Trahan of Johnson's Bayou, Louisiana; son, Shannon Carol Trahan and his wife Nicole of Ragley, Louisiana; daughter, Bobbie Lane Trahan of Johnson's Bayou, Louisiana; grandchildren, Wyatt Jarrard, Kohner and Gaige; father, Garland Stelly; niece D’Lisa Mitchell; nephew, Jerry Jordan and sister-in-law, Jackie Jordan.
