Wilton Joseph Duplecion, 75, of China, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Meeker, Wilton was born October 22, 1934, to Ledia Foux Duplecion and Billizaire Duplecion. He had been a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area and was a carpenter and rancher. Wilton loved hunting, fishing, and all family gatherings. Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Sheila Duplecion of China; daughters, Alice Faye Arocha and her husband Willie of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Merri White of Crosby; sons, Mark Duplecion and his wife Darla of Crosby, Randy Duplecion and his wife Marcie of Lumberton, Blaine Duplecion and his wife Darla of Sour Lake and Charlie Bourque of China; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister, Julie Bourque; and his parents. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at China Cemetery in China. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Broussard’s.
