Joyce Bargher, 79, of Bridge City formerly of Winnie, died March 2, 2010.

A native of Port Barre, Louisiana Joyce lived in Winnie for thirty six years and worked at Cammareri’s Grocery store before moving to Bridge City. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be 2:00 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 W. Buccaneer under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Ronnie Miller of Ohio, Gerome Miller and his wife Shirley of Winnie; daughters, Sharon Posey and her husband Michael of Bridge City, Elaine Mouton of Winnie; brother, Hank Barron of Port Arthur; sisters, Irene Lynd and her husband Lawrence of Nederland, Shirley Harrington and her husband Dan of Port Arthur; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her first husband, Burley Miller; second husband, Bob Bargher; daughter, Tina Wells; and son, Tony Miller.
