Steven Taylor Rutledge, 51, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. 

A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Steven was born October 31, 1958 to Anda Ash and Leroy Rutledge.  He was a carpenter with Walt Embler Construction.

Survivors include his father, Leroy Rutledge of Beaumont; sons, Damain Rutledge of Kentucky and Josh Rutledge of Beaumont; sisters, Pam Nunnally of Lufkin, Regina Young of Lumberton, Rebecca Rutledge of Beaumont and Rachel Rutledge of Lumberton; brother, Michael Rutledge of Lumberton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
