Dale Webb, 74, of Winnie, Texas passed away on February 28, 2010.

Dale was born in Beaumont, Texas on April 30, 1935, and was a native of Hamshire. He and his wife, Jewel resided in Seguin, Texas from 1984 until their return to Winnie in 2007. Dale is most remembered for his days and times as a pro rodeo cowboy. He participated in Saddle Bronc, Bareback, Bull Riding and Steer Wrestling. His passion in the rodeo world was Saddle Bronc. In the 1960’s, Dale started raising and training race horses and one of his most outstanding horses was Bar Beau. Dale was also a rice farmer and cattle rancher for many years. 

Dale his survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Jewel Webb of Winnie; son, Milton Crumpler and his wife Sandy of Houston; daughter, Cindy LeBlanc and her husband Erwin of Winnie; grandchildren, Matt Crumpler, Chris Crumpler, Shannon Duncan, Krista LeBlanc, Tanner LeBlanc, and Tye LeBlanc; sister, Bonnie Baillo and her husband Jon of Hankamer; brother, Ronnie Webb and is wife Cecile of Hemphill.  He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Sarah Webb; sister, Francis Duerr Ruth; and brother, Tommy Webb.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Broussard’s Chapel, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial to follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Dayton.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Broussard’s.
