Bill Aldridge, 80, of Nederland passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 at his residence.   Graveside service will be 2pm Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with Rev. Will Agy officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland.   Bill was a member and Past Master of Nederland Masonic Lodge # 1368 A.F & A.M. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the Navy. He will be remembered as a man who enjoyed history and traveling and was an avid storyteller.   Bill is survived by his daughters, Karen Poindexter and her husband Doug, Betty Jo Parish and her husband John of Robeline, Louisiana and Brenda Scates and her husband Winston of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; sons, Leon and David Aldridge; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Patrick of Liberty and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Aldridge.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill’s memory may be directed to Mid County Baptist Church Missionary Fund 121 Jerry Drive Nederland, Texas 77627.
