Doris Jane Herriage Schuldt, 73, of Broaddus passed away February 26, 2010, at her home.  Doris was born April 4, 1936, in Athens, Texas and was the middle child born to Forrest and Bennie (Smith) Herriage.

She married Conrad “Sonny” Schuldt, Jr. August 2, 1953, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Beaumont.  Doris and Sonny lived and worked most of their life in Beaumont and retired in Broaddus in December 1990 and remained in their retirement home until she passed away.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Conrad “Sonny” Schuldt, Jr.; children, Conrad “Tripp” Frank Schuldt, III and his wife Sheryl of Sugarland; Robbye Elaine Dinkins and her husband Timmy of Sour Lake, and Rodger Alan Schuldt and his wife Ruby of Dayton; four grandchildren, Angie, Cody, Ryan and Randy; three great grandchildren, Dylan, Dustin, and Lacey; brother, Jack Edger Herriage and his wife Joan of Houston; and sister, Elaine Plake and her husband Belton of Conroe.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  A gathering of her family and friends will be Monday, March 1, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
