Joy Bond, 82 of Nederland, passed away on February 18, 2010 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland. Entombment will follow at Tranquility Mausoleum, Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, 5-8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Bond is survived by her daughter, Pam Knight and her husband Ernie of Nederland; sons, Tim Bond of Sourlake, George Robin Bond and wife Connie of Little Cypress; grandchildren, Dusty Knight, Ginger Manhart, Brad Bond, Lindsey Stoker, Danielle Bond, Aaron Janise, Brock Janise;  great grandchildren, Brody Knight, Cade Knight, Joelle Manhart, Shyla Manhart, Caily Janise, Cody Janise; sisters, Rita McDaniel, Jill Douglas, Jane Hamilton; brothers, Skip Sockwell, Alvin Tipp; her good friend John Heslop and loving pet Teddy.
