Dorothy "Dot" Lorraine Waldron 
October 10, 1920 - February 13, 2010

Dorothy “Dot” Waldron, 89, of  Webster and formerly of Nederland, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Triumph Hospital in Clear Lake.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Thursday, February 18, 2010 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Reverend Monsignor Dan Malain officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday, February 17th, 2010 with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm at the mortuary.  

Mrs. Waldron was a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana and lived in the Nederland area since 1978. She was a very active member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland participating in the many societies. She was a Registered Nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital and Bishop Byrne High School and worked for various doctors in the area. She will be remembered as a lady who loved playing cards and working crochet as well as being very involved with The Terrace of Clear Lake where she resided until her death.

 

Mrs. Waldron is survived by her son, Charlie Waldron and his wife Sandy of Bridge City; daughter, Ann Provence and her husband Greg of Pasadena; grandchildren, Bob and Cody Waldron, Kathy Brown, Jennifer Millican and Bryant Provence; six great-grandchildren and her sister, Joyce Dorsey of Nederland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Waldron.
