Pansy L. Wright, 84, of Lumberton died February 13, 2010 at Dubuis Hospital, Beaumont.   A native of Kirbyville, she was a lifelong resident of the area and was a telephone operator with Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.  Pansy loved her family, grandchildren, and her favorite hobbies were traveling, reading, and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her sons, William Alfred Wright, Jr., Tommy Wright and his wife Cathy, and Johnny Preston Wright; daughter, Gail Ann Rumsey; grandchildren, William Alfred Wright III, Wayne Wright, Michelle Ashley, Steven Rumsey, Kevin Wright, and Clayton Wright; and five great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alfred Wright; and daughter, Carolyn Dale Douglas.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Broussard’s, 1605 N Major Drive, Beaumont followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  A gathering of family and friends will be Monday evening, February 15, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
