Melissa “Missie” Lynch-Myers, 51, of Groves, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Graveside service will be 2 pm, Sunday, February 14, 2010 in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with Pastor Jeff Anderson officiating. Services are under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the mortuary.

Missie will be remembered as a very courageous woman who was strong willed and independent. She loved life and especially loved her daughter and grandson. She was also an avid reader.

Missie is survived by her daughter, Aundrea McCullough and her husband Michael of Port Neches; grandson Daylin Lawson of Port Neches; mother, Alice Brown of Port Arthur; brothers, Ronnie Brown and his wife Brenda of Longville, Louisiana and Allen Brown of Lexa, Arkansas and a host of other relatives and friends.
