Pat Nimitz, 84, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was born July 21, 1925, in Port Arthur, to Louise and Felix Kozelski. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a retired office manager for Dr. Paul Meyer’s office in Port Arthur.

Mrs. Nimitz is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Bill Nimitz of Beaumont; daughter, Donna Nix and her husband Doug of Vidor; son, Larry Nimitz and his wife Ellen of Beaumont; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Her memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2010, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Following her service there will be a reception in her honor at Redeemer Lutheran, 4330 Crow Road, Beaumont, Texas 77706. A committal will be at Broussard’s Crematorium.
