Aubrey Fontenot, 75, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, February 4, 2010, at his residence.

Aubrey was born in Eunice, Louisiana and served his country in the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Simpson of Silsbee; grandson, Heath Simpson and his wife Alicia of Spurger; great grandsons, Cole and Kaden Simpson; sisters, Alverda Smith and her husband Jack of Hillsboro, Donna Bordelon and her husband Joe of Buna, and Linda Pendergrass and her husband J. T. of Silsbee.

Aubrey is preceded in death by his mother, Laura Fontenot Turner and father, Azius Fontenot; son, Ricky Fontenot; and brother, Lloyd Fontenot.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.  A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, February 5, 2010, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
