Tim Gilcrease, 43 of Nederland, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in Beaumont.

A native of Huntsville, Texas, Tim has been a lifelong resident of the Nederland area.

A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s in Nederland. Final disposition will be Broussard’s Crematorium in Beaumont.

Tim was a scuba diver, enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping and building model airplanes. He worked many years at Ameripol/Synpol as a lab technician.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Gillard Dugas.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas Gilcrease and his wife Dolores of Orange; daughters, Merri Joyas of Houston, Rachel Gilcrease of Nederland; grandson, Julian Joyas; sisters, Rene' Robinson and her husband Randy of Pearland, Tamara Norris and her husband Wes of Vidor; Tracey Gilcrease of Ringgold, GA.; brother, Terry Gilcrease of Nederland; half brother, Daniel Dugas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
