John A. Mullins, 60, of Beaumont, died Saturday, on January 23, 2010, after a two and a half year battle with brain cancer, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

He was born May 15, 1949, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Dorothy Crain and James Mullins, and has lived in the Beaumont area for sixteen years.  John was a Senior Executive Pharmaceutical Sales Representative with Glaxo-Smith-Kline and a United States Army and Air Force Reserve veteran.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Beaumont.

Survivors include his wife Terri Mullins of Beaumont; son, Cameron Mullins of Beaumont; parents, Dorothy and James Mullins of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother, Larry Mullins and his wife Kim of Ball, Louisiana; and sister, Diane Deas and her husband Dana of Mansfield, Louisiana.

His memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at Broussard’s. A committal will be at Broussard’s Crematorium.
