Gaylon Russell Stark, 60, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010.  He was born April 23, 1949 in DeRidder, Louisiana to Janet Cousins and Hershel Stark, and was a longtime resident of the Beaumont area.  Gaylon was a self-employed carpenter, and a longtime EMT.  He was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Veta Stark of Beaumont; son, Keith Stark and his wife Melanie; daughters, Lisa Morrell and her husband Phillip and Lorie Berryhill all of Lumberton; grandchildren, Keith Stark, Jr., Kody Stark, Kameron Stark, Brittney Morrell, Zachary Morrell, Abigail Morrell, Brennan Berryhill, and Keaton Berryhill; brother, Donny Stark of Newton; and numerous nieces, nephews and many other loving family members.

His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Broussard’s. A committal will follow at Broussard’s Crematorium.
