Chris Lamar Sekaly, 50, of Beaumont, died Monday, January 11, 2010, at his residence.

Chris was born in Beaumont where he lived all his life.  He served in the United States Army and was a specialist in Explosive Ordnance Disposal..

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Munter and step-father, Weldon R. Munter; brothers, Bruce Sekaly and his wife Genie of Kernersville, NC. and Alan Sekaly of Silsbee; three nephews; one niece; a great-great uncle, Gene Carter and his wife Lurine of Kountze.

Chris is preceded in death by his father, William C. Sekaly.

Memorial service will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday, January 16, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, January 16, 2010, 3:00 P.M. until time of service.
