Craig Reed, 38, of Nederland, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010 at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Funeral service will be 3 pm, Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 pm to time of service at 3 pm Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the mortuary with Pastor Joe Roberts officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s.

A native of Anniston, Alabama, Craig lived in Nederland for 35 years and was an operator at Valero Refinery. He enjoyed life and his toys; 4-wheelers, jet skies, jacked up trucks and fishing, but most of all he loved his family, especially his two nieces.

Craig is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Reed of Nederland; sister, Christina Whittle and her husband Alan of Port Neches; nieces, Kayla and Ashley Whittle; life long friends, Scott Rogers, Glenda Smith, Curtis and Regina McManus and their families, Amberr Melo, Carla Carr and her son Chase, Maria Pogue , Pete Davis, Laurie and Scott Martin and many others.
