Elizabeth Hughlene Bean, 80, of Silsbee, died Sunday, January 10, 2010, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee.

Elizabeth was born in Omaha, Texas and was a lifelong resident of the area.

She is survived by her husband, James E. Bean of Silsbee; sons, Jay Bean and his wife Darlene of Silsbee and Charles Bean and his wife DierDra of Lumberton; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sister, Mackey Stevens of Winnie.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her mother, Christine Forest and sister, Gail Horton.

The family would like to express their thanks to Mrs. Tanton and the staff of Silsbee Oaks for the loving care Elizabeth received during her stay.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna.  A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, January 12, 2010, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
