Inez “Mickey” Grayson, 85, died Saturday, January 9, 2010, in Baytown, Texas. A native of Ray City, Georgia and resident of Beaumont since 1961, Mickey was born May 3, 1924, to Utha and Lonnie Royal. She retired from Butch Hoffer as an office manager after over twenty-five years of service.

Her parents; husband, Horace L. Grayson; and son, Woodard Lonnie Bailey preceded her in death.

Mickey is survived by her daughter, Jean Matlock; sister, Wylene Edwards; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 14, 2010, at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Thursday, at Broussard’s.
