Muriel Marie Allbritton, 82, of LaPorte died January 5, 2010, at the Paramount Nursing Home in Pasadena.  Mrs. Allbritton was formerly of Winnie and had lived in the LaPorte area for the last twelve years.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 08, 2010, at Broussard’s Chapel, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Allbritton is survived by her daughters, Janis Ensey and Donna Turner both of LaPorte; sisters, Wanda Hoerig of Marble Falls, Shirley Turner of Hunnington; grand children, Chris Turner, Adam Wilkes, Stacey Aceves, Beth Smith;  great-grandchildren, Gage Turner, Jared Turner, Scott Turner, Brittani DeHoyos, Austin Turner, A. J. Wilkes, Jocelyn DeHoyos, Ryan Wilkes, Joshua Wilkes and numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Allbritton and parents, Charlie and Lillian Kirkland.
