Jenny Lynn Dulin Eckert, 57, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Christopher House in Austin.  Born August 4, 1952, Jenny was the youngest child of Elizabeth and James Dulin.  She graduated from Port Neches Groves High School.

A member of the Beaumont Junior Forum, Jenny volunteered herself to helping others.  She never met a stranger and never let you leave empty handed.

Jenny spent much of her time at Crystal Beach.  A free spirit, she reveled in watching the moon rise over the ocean. Jenny was full of life and love; she had talent for growing things and a passion for music.  Other interest included cooking and reading.

Jenny is survived by her daughter, Mondie Eckert McFaddin and her husband Michael of Lakeway; two grandchildren, Allie and Caldwell McFaddin; Alvin Eckert of China; brother, Mickey Dulin and his wife Wanda of Groves; sister, Nancy Dulin Vincent and her husband Bill of Spring; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, James R. Dulin; mother, Elizabeth Mae Dulin; sisters, Julia Dulin Gates and Fayra Dulin Wilbanks.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2010, at Broussard’s on Major Drive.  A private committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.

Mondie and her family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all of the staff at Christopher House for the special care and attention given to Jenny during her illness.
