Rosa Linda Simon, 61, of Nederland passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the Renaissance Hospital in Groves.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday, December 31, 2009 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Msgr. Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday with a rosary to be recited at 6 PM at the mortuary.   Linda was a native and lifelong resident of the Nederland and Port Arthur area. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Choir.   Linda is survived by her husband Nolan Simon of Nederland; her mother, Eva Arenas; her daughter, Molli Hall and her husband Christopher of Nederland; her son, James Simon and his wife Lacey of Groves; two sisters, Carolyn Link and her husband Mark of Nederland, and Leticia Guarnere and her husband Bruce of Nederland; three grandchildren, Andrew Hall, Eva Hall, and Sophia Bean Simon. Also several extended family.
