William "Bill" John Osborne

W.J. “Bill” Osborne, 84, of Jasper, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland with Chaplain Michael Osborne officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 12 pm until time of service at 2 pm Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the mortuary. Mr. Osborne was formerly of Port Neches and lived in Roganville for the past twenty years. He was a process operator at Jefferson Chemical retiring after 43 years of service. He will be remembered as a person who enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. Mr. Osborne is survived by his sons, Robert Osborne and wife Dianne of Port Neches, Roger Osborne and wife Mary of Colmesneil and Troy Osborne and his wife Samantha of Whitehouse; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Yvonne Nicholson and husband Jerry of Nederland and Betty LeBleu and husband James of Port Neches as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty seven years, Opal Osborne, his parents, H.K. and Vivian Osborne, sons, William John Osborne Jr. and Michael Wayne Osborne, daughter, Evelyn Osborne, granddaughter, Terry Osborne and brothers, Ralph, Melvin, Harold and Fred Osborne. |
