George Luis, 79, of Port Neches, died Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.

A native of Havana, Cuba and resident of Port Neches for many years, George was a retired Appliance Manager with Kmart.

Survivors include his sons, Rick Gremillion and his wife DeeAnn of Mansfield, Texas, Al Luis and David Luis both of Plant City, Florida; daughter, Leanne St. John and her husband James of Port Neches; grandchildren, Shawn Gremillion, Lindsey Gremillion and Alicia Luis; nephew, Javier Luis and his wife Lana of Browns Mills, New Jersey; and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2009, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Broussard’s.
