Waldo Russell Ford, 75, of Lumberton, died Thursday, December 24, 2009, at his residence.  A native of Hutchinson, Kansas, Waldo served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and worked as a truck driver.

His wife, Freda Ford; and granddaughter, Jennifer Woodard preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sons, Robert Watson and his wife Janice of Florida, James Watson of Lumberton, Russell Ford of Alabama, Howard Ford, Ernest Ford, Charlie Ford, Rusty Ford, all of Texas, and Richard Wilson and his wife Marlo of Ohio; daughters, Teresa Woodard and her husband James of Lumberton, Betty Lewis and her husband Benny of Lumberton, Carol McKuaen of High Island, Mary Mayhew of Dallas and Donda Ford of Conroe; sixteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are being held under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
