Darrell Michael “D.J.” Johnson, 23, of Woodville died December 20, 2009.  A native of Beaumont, Darrell was a graduate of Aims High School in Vidor and had been honorably discharged from the Army in August of this year.  He was planning to return to Lamar College and was currently employed with Kroger. 

He is survived by his father, Audie Johnson of Ivanhoe; brother, Daniel Johnson of Vidor; sister, Michelle Randall and her husband Jason of Vidor; and grandmother, Margaret Mitchell of Beaumont.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilee Mitchell Johnson.

Darrell was the most loving and caring person and will be truly missed and loved always by family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday evening, December 23, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
