James LeRoy Hurley, Jr., 53, of Port Arthur passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at his residence in Port Arthur.   Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 23. 2009 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland under the direction of Broussard.’s Mortuary in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the mortuary.  

Mr. Hurley was born in Beaumont on July 27, 1956 and was a long time area resident. He was a lab Technician for Huntsman.

James is survived by a son, James L. Hurley, III; daughter, Jennafer Hurley; his parents, James L. Sr. and Dora J. Hurley; granddaughter, Hailyn; brother, Gary R. Hurley; sisters, Pat Weise and Carol LaBove; and eight nieces and nephews.
