Kellie Morris Green, 68, of Hamshire, died December 7, 2009 at the Veterans Hospital in Houston.

A native of Levelland, Texas he lived in the Hamshire area most of his life. Kellie had been a pipe fitter with Local 195 before retiring and was a former member of the U S Marine Corps.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Broussard’s Cemetery, Broussard Cemetery Rd, Hamshire, Texas under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie.

Kellie is survived by his mother, Lorene Green of Hamshire; brothers, Rodney Green and his wife Rosalind of Prairieville, Louisiana, Dale Green of Hamshire; sisters, Anna LeBlanc of Stowell, Joyce Hart of Clarksville, Tennessee, Donna Chisum of Orange; numerous relatives, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Green and his father Fred B. Green Jr.
