Eugene Bertrand, 78 of Winnie died December 02, 2009 at his residence.

Eugene was a retired mechanic with Woodcock Ford.

A Mass of Christian burial will be  10:00 a.m. Friday,  December  04, 2009 at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 W. Buccaneer Drive, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie.

Eugene is survived by his daughter, Judy Trejo; sisters, Annie Mae Trahan both of Winnie, Rose Jagneaux and her husband Raymond of China, Jane Newman of Lake Charles, Agnes Paul of Mauriceville; grandchildren, Steven Bradley, Kristy Moreno and her husband Hipolito; great-grandchildren, Selena Moreno, Damion Moreno, Leland Moreno, Nathan Moreno and Peyton Bradley.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Bertrand.
