Nachita I. “Chachi” Zamora Reyes, 52, of Port Arthur, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. A native of Port Arthur, Chachi was a Beaumont resident for the past six years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Natividad Reyes.

Survivors include her sons, Adan Zamora of Beaumont and Alexander Zamora of Port Arthur; daughter, Patricia Zamora of Beaumont; her children’s father, Pedro Zamora of Port Arthur; sisters, Darlene Moreno and her husband Manuel of San Antonio, Juanita Sanchez and her husband Hector of Beaumont, and Julia Olua and her husband Juan of Groves; brother, Jose Reyes and his wife Susie of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Gavin Zamora, Alexa Zamora, Yazmin Castro, and Zenayda Maldonado.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2009, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2009, at Broussard’s. A family committal will follow at Broussard’s Crematorium.
