Michael Slay ”Mikey” Chapman, 25, of Lumberton, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 in Lumberton due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Michael was born in Houston, Texas and lived in the Hardin County area for the past ten years. He was a Team Trainer for Taco Bell in Lumberton.

He is survived by his wife, Brandi Greer of Lumberton; his beautiful daughter, Zoe Jane Chapman of Lumberton; parents, Wayne and Teresa Chapman of Lumberton; brothers, Eric Chapman and Cody Chapman of Silsbee; sister, Jamie Graham and brother-in-law, Eric of Silsbee; nieces, Peyton Chapman, Kalee Chapman both of Silsbee; and his extended family, Kamren, Patti, Royce, and Jeff Greer all of Kirbyville; and numerous family and friends.

A memorial fund, in Zoe’s honor, has been set up at Community Bank of Texas, account number 51005368.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, December 3, 2009, 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, in Silsbee.
