A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Pat moved to Beaumont with his family in 1964, and attended Sallie Curtis Elementary and Marshall Middle School. While he was at Forest Park High School, he met his wife, Erin, in 1977.  She was 15, and he was 16.  He later graduated from Forest Park in 1979.  He and Erin married in August of 1985. The birth of Reeves in 1988, was always chronicled as one of the most wonderful days of Pat’s life. Over the years, he enjoyed opening up his home to Reeves and his friends. He enjoyed fishing with family and best friends Don, Jerry and Marshall. Pat also loved the beach and playing golf with brother-in-laws and friends. He felt blessed to have been given a second family with the Wright’s and talked often of how good God was to give him a second father in Jack.  Pat considered Jack the best man he ever knew.

Recently, Pat was blessed with fatherhood a second time when Caden arrived. He had a new-found joy of playing trucks, trains and cars with Caden. He loved both his sons dearly. Pat was a generous and kind man. His personal motto was to try and do one nice thing for someone each day.

He spent most of his career in advertising sales throughout the area, and more recently was working as an operator at Wright’s Scrap Metal in Beaumont.

Pat is survived by his wife, Erin Wright Madigan, his sons Reeves Madigan and Caden Madigan, and his mother Joan Madigan all of Beaumont; sisters, Mary Madigan DeMent and her husband Crit of Westchester, PA, and Ann Madigan Holland and her husband Wayne of Beaumont; brothers, Jody Madigan and his wife Coco of Houston, and Michael Madigan of Beaumont; and many nieces and nephews.
