James Thomas Carlisle, 65, of Sour Lake died November 20, 2009, at his residence.  James was born December 20, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan to Ernest Saywell and Ethel Dorothy (Henry) Carlisle and was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his cousin, Carol Minch and her husband Charles of Fortville, Indiana; and brother, Ernest Carlisle of Greenfield, Indiana.
