Georgia Kay Moss, 64 of Port Neches passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop J.C. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be 6:00-9:00 PM, Monday at the mortuary. Georgia Kay Moss was born in Kirbyville, Texas on March 28, 1945. She grew up in Silsbee, Texas where she was a graduate of Silsbee High School, Class of 1963, and a member of the Silsbee High School Tigerettes. Georgia Kay married Golden Wayne Moss. Sr. on June 26, 1963. They were owners of Moss Insurance Agency in Port Neches, Texas for 39 years. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Twin City Ward for over forty years. Georgia Kay was a cheerful woman filled with many talents from singing, to cake decorating, to cooking, and always was one who thought of others before herself. She loved many deeply throughout her life and she leaves us now as a deeply loved mother, grandmother, daughter, niece, sister, aunt, and friend. God be with you dear Kay till we meet again. Ms. Moss is survived by her son, Golden Wayne Moss, Jr., and daughter-in-law Teresa Kay Moss; daughters, April Michelle Worthy and Wendy Kay Moss; and by her dear grandchildren, Heather Darby, Golden Joseph Moss, Breya Pike, Sarah Moss and Michael Garcia, and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her father, James Raymond Hoke and step-mother, Dorothy Hoke. Also by her beloved brother, James Cuyler Hoke, Horace Edward Hoke, Dale Inman and Dennis Inman. Also by her sweet sisters, Janice Roy and Connie Louise Singley, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear dear friends.
