John Brasfield, 62, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, John served in the Untied States Army during Vietnam and worked for Ohmstede.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Brasfield of Beaumont; step-son, Chad Breaux; sisters, Alice Sheldon of San Diego, California and Della Fischer of Vidor; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A gathering of his family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Remembrance service at 4:30 p.m. Monday November 2, 2009, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.  Mr. Brasfield’s cremation was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
