William Jennings Ware, Jr., 77 of Port Arthur, passed away October 26, 2009 at the Senior Rehabilitation Center in Port Arthur.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM with Reverend Ray Morgan officiating. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 5:00 PM prior to the service.

Mr. Ware, Jr. worked as a sheet metal mechanic in the construction industry and was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Juanita Shellnut and sister, Doris Ware.

Surviving Mr. Ware, Jr. are his son, Kenneth Wayne Ware of Port Arthur; daughter, Jaimie Gioiosa and husband Carl of Las Vegas, NV.; brother, Donald Ware of California; sister, Billie Kate Walker of Beaumont; grandchildren and great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
