Michael Thomas Peyton, 41, of Beaumont, died Friday, October 23, 2009, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth having lost his courageous battle with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy and Lou Gerhrig’s Disease.

A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Michael was born on August 1, 1968, the son of Margie and Wayne Peyton.  A faithful witness of Jehovah God, Michael was a loving son and father to his family. A graduate of Lamar University, he spent his working career as a designer in the petroleum industries of Southeast Texas.

Survivors include his son, Brandon Peyton of Beaumont; parents, Margie and Wayne Peyton of Beaumont; grandmothers, Ruby Waldrup and Dorothy Peyton; uncles, Brian Peyton, Tim Peyton, William Waldrup and Prentice Waldrup; aunts, Colleen Griggs, Wanda Guillory, Mary Birch, and Wylma Scott;  special care giver, Robin Payton; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2009, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
