Danny Paul Lyday, 50, of Sparks, Nevada, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009, in Gerlach, Nevada. Danny worked as a Lineman/Troubleman for Sierra Pacific Power for twenty plus years.

Danny is survived by his loving wife, Anita Rose Lyday; son, Richard D. Lyday; mother, Margaret Lyday; brothers, Randy E. Lyday and his wife Vicky, Steven D. “Bam” Lyday and his wife Angela; sister, Carrie Sue Melancon and her husband Mark; brothers-in-law, Dr. Frank R. Rose and his wife Pam, and Stephen R. Rose and his wife Dianne; sisters-in-law, Susan Harrington and her husband David, and Valerie Webster and her husband Harold; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, JW Lyday; brother, Ricky Jay Lyday; and grandparents, Genevieve and P.E. Broussard.

A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2009, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with cremation to follow. A service of celebration was held October 21, 2009, in Sparks, Nevada.

Danny acquired many loving friends over the years and will be deeply missed by all of those lives he touched.
