Todd Christopher Hughes, 39, of Nederland died Tuesday, October 20, 2009. A lifelong resident of the area, Todd was an electrician.

Todd is survived by his daughters, Taylor Hughes of Beaumont and Emily Hughes of Austin; parents, Mark and Linda Hughes of Jasper; wife, Sue Lane of Nederland; grandparents, Harold and Jean Hughes of Jasper; brother, Chad Hughes and his wife Heather of Nederland; niece, Lacey Hughes of Nederland; and nephew, Rocky Hughes of Nederland.

A gathering of his family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2009, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A private committal service will be held at Broussard's Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 5144, Beaumont, Texas 77726.
