Dorothy Mozelle Evans Ford, 89, of Sour Lake died October 20, 2009, at Harbor Hospice House. Dorothy was born November 7, 1919, in Heideheimer, Texas to Dedie G. and Emma Lee (McRoy) Evans. A resident of Sour Lake since 1989, she retired from First National Bank of Angleton as a teller and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Angleton.

She is survived by her son, James R. Ford and his wife Marie of Sour Lake; sisters, LaNelle Mohler, Jessie Lee Jordan, Juanita Johnston, and Nancy Serbanich; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Linder Ford; and her brother, Buddy Evans.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Angleton Cemetery, 328 Cemetery Road, Angleton, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze.
