Carolyn “Snooky” LeJune, 69, of China, died Thursday, October 15, 2009, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Ms. LeJune was born December 2, 1939, in Beaumont to Dora and William Johnson. She was a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area and was a seamstress.

Survivors include sons, James LeJune of Beaumont, and Troy LeJune and wife Callie of Silsbee; daughter, Connie LeJune and fiancé Kent Clement of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Matt LeJune, Garrett LeJune, Maggie LeJune, Terrie LeJune and Gracie Clement; step-grandchildren, Shelby Clement, Kylie Clement, McKenzie Clement, Emily Clement, Kammie Clement, Lexie Clement; mother, Dora Lorene Johnson; sister, Marilyn Schiesler; and many other loving family members.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, J.R. LeJune; daughter, Terry LeJune Norris brother, William Johnson, Jr.; and father, William Vyron Johnson.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2009, at China Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009, at the mortuary.
