Melvin "Butch" Taylor Stuckman, Jr. 
April 13, 1941 - October 15, 2009

Melvin Taylor “Butch” Stuckman, Jr., 68, of Hamshire, went to be with the Lord October 15, 2009 at his home surrounded by loving and caring friends.

 

A native of Beaumont, Butch lived in the Hamshire all his life.  He was well known for the vegetables that came from his truck farm and was a retired dump truck driver.

 

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Church, 1324 HWY 124, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 p.m. at the church.

 

Butch is survived by his son, Melvin Stuckman, III of Baltimore, MD; sister, Jean Stanley of College Station; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Iris Stuckman and brother, Skip Stuckman.
