Frank Bagesse 
February 24, 1921 - October 15, 2009

Frank Bagesse, 88, of Beaumont, died Thursday, October 15, 2009, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. 

 

Mr. Bagesse was born in Opelousas, Louisiana on February 24, 1921, to Carlo and Genevieve Bagesse.  He retired as a maintenance supervisor from Beaumont Independent School District and had lived in Beaumont most of his life. 

 

He is survived by his daughters, Sharon Galloway, and Joleen Cooley and her husband Bobby, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Donna Ivy and her husband Roy of Dallas, Dina Galloway of Austin, Desiree Toro and her husband Carlos, and Chandra Jones and her husband Ray, all of Beaumont; great grandchildren, Kayla Toro, Colin Toro, Tanner Jones, and Bree Jones; sister, Rose Sampson and her husband Stan of Vidor; and many loving nieces and nephews.

 

Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Bagesse; two brothers, Joseph J. Bagesse and Carl Bagesse; and his sister; Josephine Hooker.

 

Our PawPaw touched all of our lives in a very special way.  He was a generous loving man and he will be greatly missed by all of his many friends and family.

 

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Beaumont, with a burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.  A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2009, at the mortuary.
